HABIT STACKING

Let's not focus on what we don't have and reinforce what we can do. The most important part of any dental product is regular, daily use. Brushing two times a day for two minutes in a circular motion at a slight angle towards the gums, using two fingers and a thumb for holding the toothbrush, will ensure gentle yet thorough plaque removal of three surfaces of the tooth. To access the other two areas of the teeth, floss is the most effective in passing by areas where the teeth touch. Doing this once per day will help with the destruction of bacteria colonies that cause cavities and gum disease. Flossing while reading, watching television, or walking the dog are some of the best ways to build a regular habit without adding more tasks to your daily routine. Habit stacking is an effective method to reinforce routine for good oral hygiene.
