Kalina Dental collaborates with many specialists to give our patients the best prognosis and treatment. For facial or tooth misalignment we use Orthodontists. They are a specialist who focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities, such as misaligned teeth and jaws, using braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances. In a situation of an abscessed tooth, Kalina Dental uses an endodontist. They are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries affecting the dental pulp and roots of teeth. They perform procedures such as root canal therapy to save damaged or infected teeth. In cases of severe gum disease, we have the help of a periodontist. They specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gum diseases and conditions affecting the supporting structures of teeth, such as gums and bone. They may perform procedures like surgical or nonsurgical periodontal therapy, as well as surgical interventions like gum grafts or dental implants. Oral Surgeons are another specialist that can place dental implants. They may perform surgical procedures on the mouth, jaws, face, and neck including extractions, corrective jaw surgery, and treatment for facial trauma or pathology.
